At Silver's 2nd Chance, our mission is to intake cats that are at risk due to age, medical need, behavioral needs, or are feral.
We have a Silver's Sanctuary program for those too fragile for adoption, a 2ndChance program for our Adorable Adoptables, and a Farms4Ferals program.

Our team is 100% volunteer. There are no paid positions, not even the Board Members receive compensation.
Our Board includes a renowned Texas A&M educated, long time ER Veterinarian who advises us on all aspects of cat care.

We rely on Fosters in order to save these cats in desperate need before they face abandonment, neglect, cruelty or euthanasia.
We supply it all: Delivery of the foster cat (and pickup), Veterinary care, food, litter, toys, beds, supplies.
You supply a warm indoor only safe room, love, and kindness.
About Silvers Second Chance
Silver's 2nd Chance is a 501c3 Charity Cat Rescue. This means we are a Registered Charity both at a State and Federal level. We have no paid staff, and our Board Members also volunteer their time an are not paid.
100% of donations go directly to Veterinary care, food, litter, houses, bed, toys.
Our ability to intake depends on Fosters. If you are interested in fostering, please Contact Us. We provide everything. You provide the Love and Kindness.
Our Founder started this rescue after many years of working with animal shelters, particularly with the "unadoptable" cases: elderly, special needs, behavioral needs, long term multiple medical issues, street cats (Silver) and ferals.
HELP OUR PAWS
We are only funded by donations; we receive no government funding no grants.
100% of your donation goes to the Veterinary care, food, litter, toys and beds for the cats. ZERO goes to Admin, salaries, board!
